See Northern Michigan’s Fall Colors From a Ski Resort Chairlift

Fall colors are arriving in Michigan. Enjoy the view from a new perspective this year and take a ride on a northern Michigan ski resort chairlift.

Peak fall color is expected in Michigan over the next several weeks. Northern Michigan will see the best color in early to mid-October with good views lasting for a few weekends.

Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire, Mich., is offering $5 fall color chairlift rides every Saturday afternoon Sept. 28 - Oct. 19. The views will come from the blue chairlift which heads from Shanty Creek’s Schuss Village to the top of Schuss Mountain.

Rides will be offered on Saturdays Sept. 28, Oct. 5, Oct. 12 and Oct. 19 from noon - 4:00 p.m.
