SNL Knocks It Out Of The Park With Spoof Game Show [Video]

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler got together again this weekend to take over Saturday Night Live.

By far the funniest bit on Saturday Night Live in a LONG time was Meet Your Second Wife. The concept was three men Bobby Moynihan, Taran Killam, and Kenan Thompson would meet the woman they would eventually marry after their first failed marriage.

Seems innocent enough. until you realize each woman they will eventually marry is still a child.

Seems creepy at first, but think about a 40 year old man and a 30 year old woman, that doesn't seem weird at all. But if that man met his future wife when he was 20, she would only be 10, and that's the basic concept of this bit.

With Tina and Amy starring as the game show hosts in this bit, even the writing seemed like it was SNL of old. Solid writing.

I have to laugh though, writers at the Huffington Post, along with other bored bloggers, are trying to stir up controversy with this one. I just don't see it, there's really nothing to get offended over.

Is there an ick factor? Absolutely. Anyone who has dated someone a few years younger has heard a joke similar to what SNL put out there. Is it offensive though, absolutely not.
