So it’s happening on the east side of the state, but definitely, something to be aware of.

ClickonDetroit is sharing a warning from Huron Township about a suspicious unmarked SUV that is pulling people over, impersonating an officer.  They shared the warning after someone posted on social media warning people in Brownstown.  The ClickonDetroit story says the Brownstown police department are investigating the situation and Huron police are warning because of how close they two towns are to each other.

There was a report of an SUV pulling people over in Brooklyn Michigan earlier this week.

ClickonDetroit shared some advice from police to anyone being pulled over by unmarked SUVs:

Police added that if an unmarked SUV attempts to stop drivers, they should pull into a lighted area and call 911 to verify. Huron Township officers will always be in full uniform.
