This weekend we still have fireworks at a couple locations (if you haven’t had enough of things exploding in air). There are also concerts, comedy, judo competitions, reptiles, movies, nature, auto racing, robots, and a vintage market...just a few suggestions of things to do this weekend!

Because sometimes sleeping in a bed can be overrated.

The Amway Family Fireworks are Saturday at Ah-Nab-Awen Park next to Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and the Grand Rapids Public Museum along the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids. Starting this summer, Movies in the Park will have earlier show times. The Downtown Development Authority approved a three-year contract with a Kentwood company that will provide a brighter screen which will allow for movies to start before it gets dark...

The Amway Family Fireworks will light up the Grand Rapids skies on July 4 at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in downtown Grand Rapids in celebration of Independence Day. The 2015 event marks the fifth year of Amway’s title sponsorship of the annual fireworks display.
