Fans of improvisation get excited, because the third annual Grand Rapids Improv Festival (GRIF) kicks off tonight at the Dog Story Theater.  The weeklong celebration of all things improv has found a home in Grand Rapids! Entertainer, actor and comedian Kevin Hart is headed out on a North American arena tour hitting 45 cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena on May 17.

Lavell Crawford has canceled his Gilda's LaughFest appearance for Wednesday night because of a movie he's currently filming, festival officials announced this morning. The cancellation of his appearance at Fountain Street Church is because of a change in the production schedule for the film "Meet the Blacks."

Gilda's LaughFest's 11-day festival of comedy rolls with comedy, fun, humor, zaniness and laughter across West Michigan at more than 40 venues in Grand Rapids, Ada, Lowell and Holland from March 5 to 15. We want to help you win tickets to some LaughFest performances.
