Anderson Cooper, anchor of CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360˚ and host of AC 360˚, will be in Grand Rapids this coming May as featured guest speakerat the Davenport University 19th Annual Excellence in Business Award Gala.

A team of artists and psychologists are allowing people to symbolically breakthrough issues by physically breaking plates at DeVos Place during ArtPrize Seven. The broken plates are then turned into the ashes of a mosaic which shows a phoenix rising. The ArtPrize entry is titled "BREAKTHROUGH".

This weekend on Saturday (Jan. 18), it's the Kids & Family Expo at DeVos Place! First, one of the best things about the expo this weekend?  They'll have a zipline running through DeVos Place! No doubt you have cabin fever and so do the kids!  The Kids & Family Expo will help you come play and get active - and help the kids burn off some energy.

It's only the first full day of ArtPrize and predicting a winner now is a bit of a stretch, but I'm not going to let that stop me. A few trends have developed after just two years of ArtPrize.  If we apply these trends to this year's competition, we can make an educated guess as to who might have success.
