Grand Rapidians have been campaigning long and hard for this title, and now it's officially ours. Well, ours and another city's. Examiner.com has been running a contest for the last two weeks, attempting to determine which American city should hold the title of BeerCity, USA, and Grand Rapids has tied for the title with Asheville, NC.

Every year, Grand Rapids Magazine releases a list of the best of the best in Grand Rapids. Readers are encouraged to vote from June until September, on things from their favorite place to get a steak to their favorite dentist. Yesterdog took home the award for favorite hot dog joint, Vitale's won for best pizza, and Founder's won the crown for Grand Rapids favorite microbrewery. Did your favorites
