Tenacious D Coming to Kalamazoo in September

The comedy-rock duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, Tenacious D, are coming to rock Kalamazoo in September.

Tenacious D will bring their "Purple Nurple Tour - Twisting Hard To The Left!" tour to the Kalamazoo State Theatre September 27, 2020.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 6, at 10 a.m. at TenaciousD.com and Ticketmaster.com.

The run of shows, which focuses on swing states - with a few special stops at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall & Washington DC’s Merriweather Post Pavilion- sees Tenacious D partnering with 46 for 46 to promote voter registration and overall civic action through music.

46 for 46 aims to "harness the power of music to help elect the 46th President of the United States by increasing civic action among musicians and fans through concerts and organizing."
