The final full moon of not only this year but of the decade will be Thursday 12/12. Even crazier, it'll occur at 12:12 a.m ET.

According to the Farmer's Almanac, the moon otherwise known as December's Cold Moon turns 100% full at that time making it not only a palindrome but a very rare occurrence that some might see as lucky. As someone who totally believes in the universe, astrology, and makes a wish anytime 12:12 is on the clock I can't help but dig into the meaning behind this.

As the Almanac explains, the number 12 has various meanings. In numerology, it can be seen as wrapping up one life stage to prepare for bigger and better. In Chinese numerology, it symbolizes harmony and the number also appears several times in the Bible.

For my fellow believers hippies, you can also see how this rare full moon will affect your love life and career based on your zodiac sign. And for those that are superstitious, it might not be a bad idea to make an extra wish of luck as the following day is Friday the 13th.

The Cold Moon gets its name from Native American tribes since December is officially the start of the winter season. And a cold night it will be. Temperatures on Wednesday at 11p will be around 18° so if you're gonna step outside to moon gaze, bundle up!
