The Weeknd has released his contribution to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie soundtrack, "Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)," Republic Records announced.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is the adaptation of the bestselling book. Since its release, the "Fifty Shades" trilogy has been translated into 51 languages worldwide and sold more than 100 million copies in e-book and print—making it one of the biggest and fastest-selling book series ever.

The soundtrack album is being released Feb. 10, 2015, three days before the Universal Pictures movie's release. Danny Elfman provided the score for the film, with Dana Sano the movie's music supervisor.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is the first part in a romantic drama trilogy profiling the growing relationship between a recent college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a young business magnate, Christian Grey. Filling the roles of Grey and Steele for the film are Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
