Is This the End of Public Restroom Struggles in Michigan?
Maybe I'm alone in this, but there's nothing worse than being in public and desperately needing a bathroom.

Most of the time, when I walk into a business or gas station, I'm greeted by a sign that says "For Customer Use Only".
So after buying the cheapest thing I can find, I make my way to the bathroom just in the nick of time.
Hopefully a new service that's popping up in Michigan will help those that find themselves needing to use the bathroom while in public.
Throne Toilets Adds Two New Public Restrooms In Michigan
Throne Labs is a D.C. - based company that worked with the Downtown Detroit Partnership to bring portable restrooms to Cadillac Square as part of a pilot program.
Throne Labs has done similar pilot programs in Royal Oak and Ann Arbor.
These are not your typical porta-potties; these portable public restrooms have flushing toilets, running water sinks, decorative wallpaper, and baby changing stations
To use the public restrooms you can download the Throne App or simply scan the QR code.
Once you enter the restroom, you better not waste your time scrolling on your phone because the timer gives users 10 minutes to use the bathroom before its lights flash for 20 seconds and the doors slide open which sounds like something out of a bad nightmare.
While I don't love the idea of the door opening when my pants are down, I do think this is a great idea and hope that the pilot program is a success.
It would be nice to see more public restrooms that everyone could access when needed.
