These Grand Rapids Playgrounds Will Keep Your Kids Entertained for Hours

Being a mom means always being on the lookout for places to keep your kids entertained that don't cost an arm and a leg. And while I love Rebounderz in Jenison and the Happy Kids Indoor Playground in Kentwood, I can't afford to do that EVERY SINGLE DAY of the week with my son, even if I could- it's just not realistic.

That’s one of the best things about living in Grand Rapids. This city is packed with incredible parks and green spaces that are completely free to enjoy, no matter the season. And with so many parks around town, you may have a hard time finding the best spots to play if you're digging around online.

No matter the time of year, Grand Rapids makes it easy to get outside and have fun without breaking the bank. Whether you need a quick afternoon escape or a full day of adventure, the city’s parks are always there, waiting to be explored. That's what my son and I have spent the last year doing, and we continue to do, every chance we get.

So, I've assembled a humble list of some of my favorite places that my son and I love to play around West Michgian. I plan to occasionally update this as we find new fun places, and we're happy to hear ones you find in the comments below.
