An annual beer festival at Timber Ridge RV Park in Traverse City won't be happening in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"Suds & Snow" was scheduled for March 6, 2021. Dubbed Northern Michigan's "ultimate  party in the woods", the festival features beer, wine, cider, live music, and food vendors. It would have been the event's 15th year. Organizers announced the news of the cancellation over the weekend saying,

Bummer News...We will be cancelling Suds & Snow 2021 scheduled to take place at
Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort
on March 6th. This decision was not taken lightly. In fact, we hate it... but we're already looking forward to 2022.
We would like to announce that Suds & Snow 2022 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 5th at
Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort
in Traverse City. We're are hoping to pull off
Suds & Sun
this summer and we'll keep you posted on that event. Stay healthy good people! We hope to see all of your smiling faces next year at the ultimate party in the woods.

In previous posts, the organizers had said they hoped to be able to have the festival this year and were "patiently awaiting word from the State on a status referring to limitations on outdoor gatherings for events."

Under Michigan's current Epidemic Order, outdoor gatherings are limited to 25 people.

The next Suds & Snow is scheduled for March 5, 2022. Organizers say they hope to be able to hold  "Suds & Sun" this summer.
