West MI Police Urge Public To Not Share Fake Active Shooter Posts
On Tuesday around Noon, Grand Rapids Police posted on their Twitter a warning about FAKE Active Shooter activity along with a screenshot of what looks like a news bulletin.
Their full post read:
Fox 17 says that several of these messages circulated around the Lansing area on Monday night and urged people not to share these messages unless you know for a fact that it's legitimate - such as it came from the official police department or city's Twitter or Facebook account or it's shared from a NEWS source.
