Theodore is officially back on top, reclaiming the number one spot after leading in 2023 and coming in second last year. Hudson, Bennett, and Noah are all new arrivals to the top 10 in 2025.

Sophia is the real game changer on this list. After not even cracking the top 10 in 2024, it jumped all the way to number one this year. Charlotte, which dominated the list in both 2023 and 2024, slid down but still held on to a top-10 spot.

I recently learned that Corewell Health delivers about one in four babies born in Michigan, which amounts to roughly 28,000 babies per year. So you can say that this is a fairly accurate snapshot of what parents in this area are actually choosing.
