The summer is here again, and with good weather comes TONS of construction.  There is so much construction during the warmer months that sometimes it is hard to keep up on all of it.  Well, not anymore!  You can get all of the construction across West Michigan right here on MyChannel957.com!

BETWEEN IONIA AND SARANAC :

96 both ways between M-66 and Nash Highway (Saranac).

Pavement repairs, until Memorial Day — expect frequent re-configurations.

I-196 both ways Btwn US 31 and Saugatuck down to 1 lane due to construction

DOWNTOWN — warning for this weekend:

Ford both ways between Ottawa and Fuller Aves.

Right two lanes closed, from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday — bridge painting.

Also, on-ramp from Ionia Ave. to eastbound Ford will be closed.

— NEW CONSTRUCTION —

Southeast:

Eastern Ave. and Hall St. intersection is CLOSED all four ways.

Reconstruction on Hall between Kalamazoo and Madison Aves. — Eastern should open in two weeks.

North of Holland: New Holland St. is CLOSED west of US-31, at the train crossing, until tomorrow night.

East of Allegan: M-222 (Grand St.) is CLOSED between Main St. and Eastern Ave., until Labor Day.

South of Allegan — starting today:

M-40 between Allegan and the Van Buren County line.

Resurfacing — both sides will take turns in a single lane where the crew is working, until June 30.

Belding:

M-91 between Belding Rd. (M-44) and Snows Lake Rd. (near the airport).

Reconstruction south of Ellis Rd. and resurfacing north of Ellis — until mid-August.

Both sides take turns in a single lane, with flaggers, for a one-mile stretch — where they’re working.

Augusta — warning for next week:

M-96 (Michigan Ave.) between the Kalamazoo River and the west village line.

Repaving and sidewalk ramps, staring Monday — both sides will take turns in a single lane where they’re working, through June 24.

CASCADE:

96 is down to one lane both ways at 28th St., until Memorial Day.

Night work below — 28th St. goes down to one lane, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., and all weekend.

Westbound off-ramp to westbound 28th St. closed — extended to Monday.

Starting Friday night at 9 — eastbound off-ramp to eastbound 28th will close for two weeks.

Northeast Grand Rapids:

Fuller Ave. is down to one lane both ways over the Ford.

On-ramp to eastbound is closed.

Westbound off-ramp is “right turn only.”

Southeast Grand Rapids:

Breton Ave. is CLOSED both ways north of 28th St., scheduled to May 14.

Posted detour — west to Kalamazoo Ave.

HART AND PENTWATER:

US-31 between Polk Rd. (Exit 149) and Monroe Rd. (Exit 154).

Reconstruction — lanes, ramps and bridges closing, to the end of September.

Southbound is down to one lane at Monroe, until Memorial Day — bridge is closed, so use the off- and on-ramps.

MUSKEGON — warnings for next week:

Laketon Ave. on-ramp to northbound US-31 will be CLOSED, from 7 a.m. Monday to 3 p.m. Friday

Posted detour — Getty St. to Apple Ave. (M-46).

Northbound US-31 from Sherman Blvd. to Laketon Ave.

One-lane-squeeze, from 8 a.m. Wednesday to 3 p.m. Friday — concrete overlay.
