Whitney Port Says There’s a ‘Possibility’ for a ‘Hills’ Reunion
The rest is still unwritten, indeed — fashion designer Whitney Port, who first popped up on MTV's The Hills in 2006, says there's a "possibility" the show might return as a part of TV's now-requisite revival trend.
Port, who starred with Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge and Heidi Montag on the reality show — which followed the ladies as they navigated the worlds of Los Angeles' fashion and PR scenes — told Us Weekly that fans might soon be in for a bit of a homecoming...maybe.
The Hills originally ran from 2006 to 2010.
“I think there’s like a slight possibility,” Port said. “People are talking about it a little, but there’s nothing actually like concrete in the works. I think it would be hard to get everybody back together again just because we’re all in such different places, but it’d definitely be something fun.”
Still, Port said, a Hills reunion would probably be much more subdued than similar projects.
“I think it depends on what it was about. I don’t necessarily need to go on a vacation like Jersey Shore people,” she said. “Stay in a hotel room with everybody and like—yeah. Not for me, I’m not that fun. I mean I’m fun, but not that kind of fun.”
Earlier this month, Kristin Cavallari told People that there was, in fact, a more formal Hills reunion in the works, but that two certain stars stopped the project in its tracks.
“Truth be told, they were trying to get us all together,” she said. “Then two people pulled out.”
Cavallari said "no comment" when asked if she was referring to Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, the show's married villains. She later said that they were contractually disallowed from participating.
