Winter Returns Tonight, Will Stay Until The Weekend
I hope you got out and enjoyed the spring like weather we've been having, because winter is back, and he's gonna make it just a little miserable the next few days.
Michigan enjoyed record and near record temperatures and brilliant sunshine around most of the state Sunday, and while it won't be as warm, Monday will feature 45 degree highs.
But it all snaps back tonight with light snow and freezing drizzle back in the forecast.
No serious accumulations are forecast through Tuesday, and Wednesday will provide a partly sunny reprieve before a little winter storm clips through here Wednesday through Friday.
The National Weather Service currently is calling for at least one inch of snow Wednesday night into Thursday, while Weather.com is calling for at least two inches with this storm, backing off from its earlier 3-6 inch prediction.
At any rate, it's just another reminder that it is still winter here in West Michigan, even though long term forecasts are calling for warmer than normal temps.
