‘True Blood’ Announces Next Summer Will See Series Conclusion

No! Bad news for Trubies! Next summer will see the last season of 'True Blood'.

HBO announced yesterday that the dark comedy 'True Blood' will wrap up next season with a 10 episode run.

This past summer also saw a limited amount of episodes as Anna Paquin became pregnant with twins with hubby (and fellow cast mate) Stephen Moyer.

The past two seasons of True Blood have seen lower ratings than previous seasons. However, the show is still one of the highest rated in HBO's history.

The shows creator, Alan Ball, left the show after five seasons to begin a new project. Ball also created another HBO massive hit "Six Feet Under". Since his departure many fans have said the show just isn't the same.

The writers have said that they hope to circle back to familiar faces and places in the last season so that fans are left with the lose ends tied that they've been wondering about for some time.
