Twins are Born in Different Years

Twins share a lot of things together, including their birthdays but oddly enough, not these twins.

In a San Diego hospital, a twin brother and sister were born only 3 minutes apart but in different years! Jaelyn Valencia was born at 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2015 and her brother, Luis, was born at 12:02 a.m. on January 1, 2016.

The crazy part is the parents weren't expecting the babies for another month. The father told FOX 5 that the babies weren't due until the end of January but the twins had other plans. The twins were officially the last baby of 2015 and the first of 2016 in the hospital.
