Check out their Grand Stand Line Up, Carnival by Elliot's Amusements, Whispering Pines Petting Zoo, Reptile Mania. On Friday night it is the Superkickers Rodeo. On 5:00 pm on Saturday it’s the Mud Runs.

    Movies on Monroe, the premier outdoor film series in Grand Rapids, returns this summer with big screen entertainment by the banks of the Grand River! This event will feature “Hotel Transylvania 3” (PG) and “A Quiet Place” (PG-13). Movies will play on 400-square foot LED video wall. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own chairs, beer, wine, and snacks. Rental lawn chairs will be available for $2 per chair. Food trucks will be on-site and various snacks will be available for purchase at the event. Pets are welcome! This is a smoke-free event series. Costumes are encouraged.

    The West Michigan Whitecaps are in the middle of a six-game homestand. On Friday, it will be another FANomenal Friday. This week it’s My Little Pony night featuring a Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Apple Blossom Appearance. On Saturday, the Bunghammers will be back! There will also be Fireworks after the game. Then on Sunday, it’s Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Family Day. The first 1,000 kids eat free! Also get autographs and play catch on the field before the game and Kids Run the Bases after the game. It will also be Dog Night at the game on Sunday. Bring your dog to the ball game. There will also be Corgi races.

The Flea Market started operations in May 1970 as way to make use of the Beltline Drive-In property, which is still owned by Celebration Cinema.

    Leave No Pin Standing - Bowling for Special Olympics of Michigan

    This is the 2nd Annual Bowling for Special Olympics Michigan Fundraiser for Area 11 Athletes.  Last year's event was one of the most fun SOMI fundraisers you could attend. There will be 1st through 3rd place awards for the following categories: Top Fundraiser, Oldest Bowler, Youngest Bowler, High Individual Series, and High Individual Game. There will be raffle prizes as well. Get a team of 4 together and join them for a day of fun and bowling a minimum of $100 per team, but don't stop at $100, raise as much money as possible.  Special Olympic Athletes will be joining and bowling -- they bowl for free.

    The Hundo Fundo 2019

    Do you like bicycles? Do you like loud guitars? Well do we have a ride for you!! It’s the Hundo Fundo. Celebrate the freedom of riding your bike and taking over a small bar on the westside of Grand Rapids and have your face melted off by the one thee only HUNDO master of the electric guitar. Meet at the Sixth Street Bridge Park at the Gazebo at 7 pm Saturday. They will depart the park once we have a full crew and will roll thru city at a VERY slow party style pace where we will make everyone jealous that they are not rolling along. After you roll thru all of the nooks and crannies, it is off to the Point Bar just north of Richmond St. After arriving, you will be completely shredded by the guitar mastery of Hundo, for a full hour of metal shredding mayhem. After your face has been completed melted off, you pedal back south and finish at the Garage Bar for a final night cap. Ride a party bike. Where casual clothes. Bring a friend. The route is less than 10 miles and is all flat and they promise a slow party pace.

    The World's Largest Dog Wash to benefit Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids brought to you by Bissell is back for it's 17th year! This fun-filled event is great for the whole family (specifically your four-legged family members)!  For just $10, you'll get a wash and towel dry, doggy bag (while supplies last) and information from area businesses and veterinarians! After your dog has been cleaned, take them on over to the stadium to enjoy West Michigan Whitecaps' Dog Days Game (tickets to the game must be purchased separately). The 17th annual Dog Wash's proceeds benefit Children's Cancer and Grief Program at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids!
