As announced earlier this week, one of the biggest DJs in the world, Marshmello will be making his way to West Michigan for the 2024 Breakaway Music Festival, being held at Belknap Park on August 16-17th.

Lately, the DJ has been making some big headlines with his surprise pop-up shows with fellow artist Svddendeath, performing under the name Mellodeath. The crowds have been massive, fun and very last second.

So, naturally I started to think about all of the incredible places that Marshmello could have a surprise pop-up here in West Michigan.

Since the first pop-up show for Mellodeath was on top of a hot dog stand in Chicago, it only makes sense that he could have one on one of West Michigan's most quirky coney islands.

Plus, with Veterans Memorial Park across the street, there would be plenty of space for people to enjoy it.

His second pop-up show was at the Mall of America (and it looked incredible)

Since we don't have one of the biggest malls on the planet nearby, it makes sense that our only double decker mall would have to do. Maybe he could finally bring some business to bring it back to life.

Listen, Tulip Time doesn't have to be the only time we hang out in this part of holland. There's plenty of space and a hell of a view, this unique to our area venue would be amazingly weird for a music pop-up.

Let's be honest, this one needs no explanation. Although the show would have to be earlier in the day since late night gatherings on the blue bridge were banned last year.

Come on, the beach was basically made for a party. There is tons of shoreline Marshmello could use to throw a rager. And, if we're lucky he could have it next to The Deck in Muskegon so we can have a sip and a view.
