6 Pools in West Michigan You Can Rent This Weekend To Kick Off Summer
This weekend marks the official start of pool season, and if you're not lucky enough to have your own private pool, you may not be as excited to start the summer. Skip waiting in line, expensive snack bars, and weirdos making comments about your swim suit, and instead try out Swimply, a new service that allows you to find an rent private pools nearby.
You may think it's too expensive to rent a pool, but luckily for you, swimply allows you to basically use an air b&b style service model to rent someone's backyard pool for an afternoon of enjoyment. A lot of the pools start at around $50/hr, but allow sometimes up to 10-20 guests, so once you split that amongst your friends it can be a really affordable option to have some fun.
Here are some of the best pools you'll find available this weekend for rental (while they last)
Beth & Wayne's Outdoor Pool
This pool located in East Grand Rapids is not only 12 feet deep, it also comes with lights for nighttime swimming, it's heated in case it's cool the day you take a dip, and comes with access to a grill for just an additional $10.
The pool is 40' x 20' and allows up to 12 guests. So, while it won't be your backyard pool party, it's a pretty great option for a grill out and lay out. If you'd like to see more, you can visit the listing here.
This in town "G Oasis" will make you wish you could move in
While Germaine's pool is closer to the central part of the state, this listing will make you beg to stay forever. This in ground pool comes with a beautiful view, heating, diving board, privacy fence, and more.
There is also a 12x12 gazebo with a fire pit table that will give you a 5 star experience, as well as 3 separate patio decks, 2 BBQ pellet smoker grills, and last but not least: your own private 5 person hot tub with multiple led lights and VIP amenities. Now, I wouldn't recommend having that many people over if you plan to fit everyone in this pool, but the listing says Inground pool goes from 4 feet down to 8.5 feet in a private fenced backyard with plenty of room to play. Lower deck area with grass and upper deck with plenty of seating. They also offer an indoor restroom, so your party will be perfect if you book here. She says you may use her indoor restroom, and that kids are of course welcome. And if you're able to swim on a weekday, you'll save some cash on your rental. She's ready to host your summertime fun.
