If there’s one thing West Michigan loves, it’s a good deal. And soon, Whitehall shoppers will have a brand-new way to save big.

The popular German grocery chain ALDI is opening its doors in town, bringing their famous low prices, exclusive products (and dupes), and weekly specials to one of Muskegon County’s most charming communities.

The new store will make it easier than ever to stock up on weeknight dinners, quick lunches, and (of course) the essentials for Halloween night. Whether you’re looking for bags of candy for trick-or-treaters or a bottle of their award-winning budget wine to unwind after the sugar rush, ALDI’s timing couldn’t be better.

This new location is part of the chain’s major nationwide expansion, as ALDI continues to grow its footprint across the U.S. The company has opened new stores this year in Davidson Township and Hillsdale and has a goal of reaching 800 new stores nationwide by the end of 2028.

Whitehall’s ALDI will open its doors at 8:45 am on Thursday, October 30th at 3255 Colby Road, Suite B.

The first 100 customers through the door will receive a special gift bag full of ALDI-exclusive goodies and a gift card as part of the ALDI Golden Ticket giveaway. If you can’t make it right at opening, shoppers can still enter to win a $500 ALDI gift card throughout their opening weekend from Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.

So go ahead and grab your shopping list (and a quarter for your shopping cart). A new era of affordable, easy grocery shopping is about to begin in Whitehall.
