Yes, Ashton Kutcher will still be starring as Steve Jobs in the biopic tentatively titled 'jOBS,' and yes, we still think they should consider changing the name.

Maybe 'iJobs.' Or 'Steve iJobs.' Or 'Steve Jobs Now Lives in the iClouds.' Something.

Awful names aside, the film will be premiering at the Sundance Film Festival as the closing event in January of 2013, so it has to be at least a little good to get that plum spot.

Kutcher is also a pretty convincing ringer for an early '80s Steve Jobs, as evidenced by the first official photo that was released on the Sundance website so the “oh God, people are letting Ashton Kutcher be in a serious movie” stigma is somewhat lessened.

The question is, how well can he pull off a black turtleneck?

According to Josh Gad, who plays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, “Ashton is going to blow a lot of people away. His performance was absolutely transformational. If he looked any more like Steve Jobs, I think it would just confuse a lot of people ... It’s that uncanny.”

Let's hope the acting matches the look.

Of course if it's bad, Jobs' on-screen legacy won't be forever tied to "that guy from the filthy sitcom." There's still always Aaron Sorkin's Steve Jobs biopic to set things right again.
