Baseball is back!

Spring training has begun and the Detroit Tigers' home opener is Thursday, April 4, at Comerica Park.

Audition to sing the national anthem at Comerica Park this season!

If you can throw a 95+ mph fastball, the Detroit Tigers could use you on the field towards the end of games this year.

If you can hit all of the big notes in "The Star-Spangled Banner," the Detroit Tigers could use you on the field to help get games started this season.

The Detroit Tigers are accepting national anthem auditions via YouTube videos.

Here's how it works:

  1. Make an audition video on youtube.com.
  2. Send the link to promotions@tigers.mlb.com.
  3. Include this information with your email: name, phone number, mailing address, email address, performance history and vocal training experience.
  4. Audition performances should be traditional and be 90 seconds or less.
  5. The Detroit Tigers will contact you if they have a game available for you.
  6. Auditions will be kept on file for two years.

Good luck! But be careful. If you're too good the Tigers will probably try to trade you with Nick Castellanos for some prospects.
