It's 2020 and let's face it, everyone needs a some words of encouragement.  So, for today's Steve's Daddy Tips he is teaching your toddler how to boost your self esteem.

  1. Today’s first Daddy Tip is going to seem pretty obvious but the tip works both for parents and kids. If possible, don’t bathe or shower your kids until after they poop for the day. Sure, you can’t always predict the poop, but if your kids are on a schedule, then you should always try to schedule bathtime for a few hours after their poop. Because let’s face it, kids are messy poopers and no one wants a messy one right after a bath.
  2. The next Daddy Tip is all about getting those vocal cords ready for the holidays. You gotta teach those kids of yours songs for the holiday FaceTimes you are going to be doing. Even though Charlotte doesn’t know any Christmas songs yet, she still is getting those pipes warmed up for when she does learn the songs.
  3. And the final Daddy Tip of the week is to teach your kids how to give you words of encouragement.  Charlotte loves telling us all great job after we give her a bath, or cook her dinner, or just do anything else for her and it really feels good. As a parent, you don’t often get compliments from your kids, so teaching them to do so at a young age can really make you feel good from time to time. I even get her to say great job to other people too.

And now it’s time for an awesome Dad Joke!

Q: Why do chicken coops only have 2 doors?
A: Because if they had 4, they'd be called chicken sedans.
