Beverly Hills Cop is arguably one of the most iconic movie franchises from the 1980s. Eddie Murphy already had a hugely successful career coming off of his time at Saturday Night Live, but that didn't stop him from propelling himself further into the spotlight with one of our favorite movie series.

And you may be thinking: Detroit is a long way from Beverly Hills, but it turns out some scenes from the original film were also shot in Detroit since the move is based on a Detroit Cop who is on vacation in Beverly Hills. Naturally, it only makes sense that they return to shoot here some again.

When will they be filming Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F scenes in Detroit?

According to a flyer that is trending on Twitter, it appears they'll be filming a few scenes in Detroit the week of Nov 27 - December 2nd.

It appears they will be filming some car chase and explosion sequences based on the flyer posted above, so there is no word on if the big name actors like Eddie himself will be in town for this.
