Big Ten Basketball Conference Tournament

Big Ten Basketball is one of the most competitive conferences in the NCAA. Right now the Big Ten has 4 teams in the Top 25; #9 Purdue, #12 Wisconsin, #16 Illinois, and #24 Iowa.

The tournament started yesterday with a bang. Penn State's Nittany Lions beat the Minnesota Gophers 60 to 51. The Northwestern Wildcats took out the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a close game 71 to 69.

It's been an up and down season both for the Wolverines and Spartans. Win and losses aside, March has been the time of year that historically these teams get hot.

You got this Coach!

This will be the first game back for University of Michigan Coach Juwan Howard since his suspension after the post-game incident with the Wisconsin Badgers.

He publicly has spoken out about the incident, has apologized to the team, and is looking to grow.

For Michigan State Coach Tom Izzo this will be his 26th Big Ten tournament as Head Coach of the Spartans Basketball team.

He just wrapped up this regular season with a win over Maryland to become the winningest Coach in Big Ten Basketball. With this record, Izzo surpasses Legendary Indiana Coach Bobby Knight with 663 wins with the Spartans.
