It looks like Buffalo Wild Wings will be coming to Downtown Grand Rapids.  A franchise president told WZZM 13 news that he is working on an agreement to buy the former Tap House sports bar on Ionia Avenue and turn it into a Buffalo Wild Wings.

They've been considering opening a franchise in downtown Grand Rapids for 15 years.  In addition to the main restaurant, they hope to build a two story deck and hire up to 80 workers.

The franchise hopes that they will close on the building within the next month and open the new restaurant by October.

This is good news for those of us who live in the downtown area and love ourselves some wings. It will be nice to not have to drive to 28th St., 44th St., Knapp's Corner or Alpine just to get our wing fix.
