Ottawa County Sheriffs Department needs your help finding a suspect, they say tried to rob two people on February 25th.

They’ve released this photo of the suspect, hoping that even though it’s not a glamour shot, it’s still may be something that leads to this guy’s arrest.

Fox 17 reports the first robbery attempt happened at a Speedway gas station on Butternut Dr.  The suspect opened the passenger side door and pulled out a knife and demanded money.  The driver was able to back up and knock the suspect down, he then drove away.

According to the Fox 17 story, the second robbery happened later that night when a guy approached a man walking on 136th Ave.  He pulled out a knife, demanded money and the two fought over the knife. The fight resulted in the victim being injured with a minor knife wound.

Both times the guy got away.

Fox 17 says, police are looking for a black male, 5’10” and about 160 lbs. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt that has a pretty loud design on the front.
