Candy Corn That Tastes Like Thanksgiving Dinner

One of my favorite meals out of the entire year is Thanksgiving Dinner. The turkey, stuffing, green beans, glazed carrots, some cranberry sauce, and don't forget the sweat potato pie.

Over the years various companies have tried to adapt the taste of the Thanksgiving dinner into their products. Do you remember the Thanksgiving flavored sodas?

Now it looks like Brach's candy is going to give it a try. They are releasing a bag of candy corn with flavors that taste like a Thanksgiving dinner. Flavors include Green Beans, Roasted Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, Ginger Glazed Carrot, Sweet Potato Pie & Stuffing.

From the reviews I have seen online, there are not a lot of people who like this combination of Thanksgiving dinner combined with candy corn.

According to the Brach's website, it looks like the 12 ounce bag of holiday candy corn is only available at Walgreen's.

Brach's also makes a few other varieties of candy corn. You can get an "autumn mix" of Brach's Pumpkins, Harvest Corn, and Classic Candy Corn.. There is also Harvest Corn where they have infused their original Candy Corn flavor with cocoa powder for a rich, chocolaty taste. Or, there is Caramel Candy Corn, which is candy corn paired with rich caramel flavor. There is also a S’mores Candy Corn which is flavored with melted marshmallows, graham cracker crust, and milk chocolate. (The Brach's website also includes recipes where you can use candy corn to a variety of different things.)

Candy Corn has been around since the 1880s. It was originally called "Chicken Feed". The National Confectioners Association estimates that around 35 million pounds of candy corn are sold annually.

Here in Michigan we love candy corn. I'm not sure how well we will love the Thanksgiving Dinner flavored variety, but I will give it a try if I find any at Walgreen's.
