The good weather has finally arrived and it is the perfect time for some frozen drinks.  The last time that Steve went shopping, he grabbed some orange juice concentrate and that got him thinking about a recipe he remembered making when he was a kid, Orange Julius!

Steve quickly shot a text to his mom demanding the recipe and with a little bit of searching she was able to dig it out of storage for him.  (Fun fact: This is actually the very first recipe Steve ever made in his entire life.  When was just a young boy of age 7 or 8, he found the recipe one summer day and made it all by himself!)

If you can't read cursive, or have a hard time looking at decades old food stains, here is the recipe in text format:

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 or 6 ice cubes

Recipe

  • Put all ingredients in blender for 30 seconds.

It's a fast, easy and super tasty summertime treat.  Steve's daughter Charlotte liked it so much that she demanded more and then got a brain freeze from drinking it too fast.
