Christine Goes Glam for the Holidays with Amazing Lash Studio

Everything is a little brighter, shinier and more colorful during the holidays, so when I learned that Amazing Lash Studio opened its first Michigan location here in Grand Rapids, I decided to treat myself — and I'm so glad I did.

Amazing Lash Studio offers semi-permanent eyelash extensions and uses only highest quality, proprietary lashes and glues. The studio was elegant and cozy, so the minute I walked in I knew I'd be receiving a spa-like experience.

My lash stylist, Brittani, made sure to get to know me so she could give me the best possible service and recommendations. She went over all the different lash options, from cute to natural to sexy, etc. They come in different lengths and volumes, but Brittani took into consideration that I wear glasses and didn’t make the lashes too long to where they would hit the lens.

The actual process is 2 hours, but Brittani made it comfortable and we chatted almost the entire time. She even said some girls end up sleeping! They sent me home with a gift bag of things I needed for aftercare.

I am very happy with my lashes because they look “humbly extra” — they look more glam but still natural. On the left, you can see how my lashes didn't necessarily stand out with my glasses, and on the right, you can see how full they look now:
