City of Grand Rapids Hosting Open House For Hiring New Police Recruits
The City of Grand Rapids will be hosting an open house on August 7th in hopes of getting new recruits for the city's police force. The open house will take place on August 7th from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Michigan Works building located at 215 Straight Ave. NW.
You do not need to have any prior experience in law enforcement or any law enforcement related degrees. According to the city's website "the department is looking for quality individuals interested in delivering professional, progressive and responsive services to the community."
The job pays $45,369 a year with full benefits and includes a free training program at Grand Valley State University’s (GVSU) Police Academy which begins April 27, 2020.
