City of Grand Rapids Throwing Opening Day Pool Parties on Monday!

Monday, June 3rd is the first day of pool season in Grand Rapids and what better way to kick it off than with a party!

The city will be hosting a pool party at its three pools:

Briggs Park Pool - 350 Knapp St NE
MLK Park Pool - 900 Fuller Ave SE
Richmond Park Pool - 1101 Richmond St NW

The parties will begin at 1 p.m. and the first 100 kids (17 and under) at each pool, will get to choose between a free beach ball, sunglasses, or popsicle.

The splash pads will also be open on Monday too. They are free to residents and non-residents.

Pools and splash pads will be open through August 17th. For more information on locations, hours, and pricing check the city's website here.
