Since it is spring cleaning season tomorrow would be a great day to get rid of the clutter in your life (at least in your home).

The city of Wyoming is holding their Community Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 21st. The event will be held at North Godwin Elementary School from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. and is open to Wyoming residents only. Your ID will be checked for proof.

Trash, recycling and household hazardous waste will be accepted. Items that you can get rid of at this event include:

  • Washer/Dryers
  • Dishwasher or range
  • Refrigerators
  • Furniture
  • Car/bike batteries
  • Metal and
  • General waste/trash

All of those items will be collected for FREE. However, mattresses & tires will have a fee attached to them if you choose to get rid of those.

You MUST be in line by 1:30p the latest to take advantage of the community clean-up.

Salvation Army will be on site accepting donations while Kent County Recycling will be taking your trash/recyclables.
