President Donald Trump was joined by Kid Rock on Monday, March 31st, inside the Oval Office of the White House as he signed an executive order aimed at combating ticket scalping and reforming the live entertainment ticket industry.
While talking with President Trump and the media, he went on to explain how frustrating it is for him as an artist to see tickets go on sale and then have their prices get out of control.
"You can buy a ticket for $100. By the time you check out, it's $170. You don't know what you've been charged for. But, more importantly, the bots come in, they grab all the good tickets to your favorite shows that you want to attend, and then they're relisted immediately for sometimes a 400-500% markup"

"I'm skeptical that anything will be able to fix these problems, but my wallet and I would be very happy if ticket prices could finally be brought back down to a reasonable level.
