Over the weekend, country artist Kane Brown brought two nights of his sold out High Road tour to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, and along with him came two of country's hottest rising stars, Ashley Cooke and Mitchell Tenpenny.

The show was electric for anyone who was lucky to snag a ticket to either of the sold out nights. I was lucky enough to be in the pit for the Friday Night show, and it was an electric night.

Ashley Cooke and Mitchell Tenpenny must have really loved their time in Grand Rapids, because by the second night of the two shows, they had already picked their favorite Grand Rapids sports teams and started repping them.

They're not the first country artists to show up on stage wearing gear from Michigan teams, because the night before Mitchell Tenpenny's guitarist (who is originally from Grand Rapids) was spotted wearing this super awesome Bad Boys era Detroit Pistons shirt.

Also, last year when Bailey Zimmerman sold out 20 Monroe across the street, he was also spotted wearing a Griffins jersey.
