It's time again for another quarantine edition of Steve's Daddy Tips. Today's tips include an educational tip and a couple of tips that could either help you out or get you in trouble.

  1. Today’s first daddy tip is for parents who are desperate for a high quality learning app for their kids but don't want to spend the money on something their kid might not like. Check out Khan Academy. They have apps for kids as young as 2 up to adults at the college level. The Khan Academy app is completely free and created by professors, teachers, and educational experts. You can get the apps at KhanAcademy.org.
  2. The second Daddy Tip is to not use your toddler’s limited vocabulary against your spouse. Sure, being cooped up at home gets annoying and messing with people you live with is fun, but you really shouldn’t use your toddler in your games. I’ve been telling Charlotte to say silly things to my wife like she smells like poo poo and Britt has been telling her to follow me around saying I see you. This might seem fun at first but it gets annoying really quick, so jut don’t do it..
  3. And the final Daddy Tip of the week is something that is probably borderline germaphobic, but who cares as long as it teaches your toddler good hygiene. Teach your kid to tell everyone to wash as soon as they come in from the outside world. Yeah Charlotte, you tell them. She does it so much now that even when we come in from getting the mail she says it. Ok fine I’ll wash my hands. And the more she says it and sees us listen, she instantly goes and washes her hands when we tell her to wash.

And now it’s time for an awesome Dad Joke?

Q: Did you hear about the guy who’s left side was cut off?
A: He’s all right now.
