I remember a few years back when Jerry Seinfeld was spotted grabbing breakfast at Levi's Food and Spirits in Saginaw, Michigan before his show at the Dow Event Center.

It caused a lot of excitement, and I bet it helped bring in more customers.

Over the weekend a famous comedian stopped by Butcher’s Union in Grand Rapids to grab a meal before his sold-old show at the Van Andel Arena.

Shane Gillis, along with his opening acts and family stopped at the popular restaurant on bridge street and posed with staff outside for a picture that was shared on Butchers Union's Instagram.

The two guy on the right of the photo were the comics that opened up for Shane on Saturday night.

Holding the Vault of Midnight bag is comedian Sam Tallent.

He opened the show and was hilarious.

Sam, who now lives in Detroit, made several funny references to places around Michigan.

The other comic, Sam Morril, came on between Tallent and Gillis and was hilarious as well.

Then the moment everyone was waiting for, Shane Gillis came out and took the stage and had everyone laughing the entire show.

If you get a chance to see Shane Gillis make sure you go to the show.
