A man is in the clink after stopping cars in Traverse City, mainly because he wasn't wearing any pants.

Approaching cars on the roadway is frowned upon Up North, and usually you'd get off with a warning, but if you're not wearing pants, well, that just ups the ante.

James Colson of Traverse City found that out recently when he was arrested by State Police on Division Street in TC, slapping cars while not wearing pants.

According to UpNorthLive, the 53 year old Colson was taken into custody, and given a pair of emergency trousers. In a surprise to no one, the MSP also noted that alcohol was involved in the incident.
