Fundraising Event Set For Grandville Principal

Grandville High School Principal Chris VanderSlice announced he was diagnosed with leukemia around 2 weeks ago. Since this announcement, there's been a amazing coming together of the community, and this Wednesday you can help out.

This Wednesday, February 5th, the Grandville competitive cheerleading team will be transforming the Bulldog Invitational into a fundraising event for Principal VanderSlice, and a cancer awareness event.

Proceeds from the 50/50 raffle, silent auction and admission will be divided between Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, also Grandville's Ivanrest Church - who have been helping with donations.

The event costs $3 for students and $5 for adults, and starts at 6 p.m. at Grandville High School at 4700 Canal Ave, SW.
