A new-ish movie theater in Downtown Holland will once again do Free Ticket Friday and it starts this week!

Sperry Moviehouse opened in 2019 and unfortunately was closed for the majority of 2020 due to the pandemic so not everyone got to experience all the theater has to offer. This isn't just like any theater. Sperry is considered a "boutique" theater as they have heated, reclining, massage chairs.

Sperry's general manager told WOOD-TV they've been doing a soft re-opening over the last few weeks but are now excited to bring more people back in, and Free Ticket Friday is their "gift to the community."

This weekend and next, the theater is bringing back Free Ticket Fridays. They say every movie on their roster will be available.

Check out the available movies here. Tickets are going fast so get yours now!

Sperry's Moviehouse is not just a theater they also have a restaurant/bar so people can forget life's responsibilities for an afternoon and enjoy some food, drinks, and a movie. They even have a playhouse for kids.

Currently, Sperry's is only open on the weekends (Friday: 4p-close, Saturday & Sunday: 12p to close) but when new movies start to roll out they plan on expanding their hours.

As far as safety goes, the theater will be spacing out seats in between groups and they've added air purification systems in every room.

Tickets for next Friday's free tickets will go on sale Tuesday.
