Everyone loves the great deals at Goodwill but unfortunately you can only buy online since the doors are closed in West Michigan.

According to WZZM, like most retail stores, Goodwill Industries of West Michigan have closed their stores because of COVID-19 in order to protect employees, donors and shoppers.

The shut down began across West Michigan on Wednesday, March 18. For now, stores will be closed until April 5 in Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo and Ottawa counties. Grand Rapids locations are still open for now.

The press release from Goodwill of West Michigan said, "this has been a difficult decision, however we are following the advice of public health officials to help stop the spread of the coronavirus as it enters out West Michigan community."

The good news is you can still shop Goodwill online and make donations. Donations are Monday - Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at these stores in Coopersville, Holland-Washington Ave., Muskegon-Sherman Blvd., and Zeeland will remain open for business.

Goodwill said it will continue to operate their website and there will be no interruption to their online sales.

Goodwill will be waiting for 72 hours before sorting donations in order to protect employees.

For now if you would like a curbside pickup for your donations, you can contact 231-722-7871 to schedule your pickup.
