Perfect timing or what?!

Throughout most of our time in lockdown, I've been saying one of the things I can't wait to do once again is get together with friends for brunch. Now, just as the state reopens and people emerge out of their quarantine cocoons, there's a new place to add to your list of brunchin' hot spots.

Meritage Hospitality Group has announced the official opening of their second Morning Belle restaurant; less than a year after their first one. This one is located at 434 Bridge St. NW in Grand Rapids. The brunch spot opened last Thursday. The company told Grand Rapids Business Journal,

Meritage Hospitality Group is excited to bring Morning Belle to the West Side of downtown Grand Rapids and to share this new concept with even more of the city.

The West Side has a really active social scene and is one of my favorite parts of town to hang out, eat, drink, party - day or night. Therefore, there's a good chance that starting off your day with brunch and cocktails at Morning Belle is going to lead to a bar hop along Bridge St. after the fact. Go for it! You're overdue for a Sunday Funday, anyway.

Morning Belle is open daily from 7a-2:30 p.m. for breakfast & brunch, lunch, and also serve up tasty cocktails such as your brunch basics (mimosas and bloody's) to spiked cold brews.

Their first location opened in September of 2019 on E. Beltline Ave., where Twisted Rooster used to be. Meritage Hospitality eventually plans on opening over 30 Morning Belle locations across the U.S.
