Grand Rapids’ Newest Brewery – The Mitten Brewing Co. – Opens [Photos]

Grand Rapids is Beer City, USA, and now we've added a new brewery into the mix. The Mitten Brewing Co. opens its doors to the public Thursday, just in time for the World Series. Check out some photos from their soft opening after the jump!

The Mitten decided to open their doors on a limited basis since the Tigers have made it to the World Series. From now through the end of the month, their hours and menu will be limited. On their Facebook page, the brewery referred to this as a "sneak peek" into what things will be like when they are fully open for business. They say,

The hours will be 6PM until midnight, and a limited menu of beers and pizza will be available. While our actual Grand Opening (with full hours, beer and food menus) won't be until sometime in November, we wanted to give you a chance to check us out in advance and enjoy the World Series!
