And now, our own Governor is teaming up with one of our biggest social industries to bring a new brew to life.
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer made the trip down to Kalamazoo on Thursday to immerse herself in the world of craft beer. She's teaming up with the talented staff at Bell's Brewery for the creation of a very special beer in honor of her and the state, 'Governor's Whitbier.'
This brand-new brew is a celebration of everything pure Michigan. It incorporates locally sourced ingredients like Michigan peaches. Crafted with care, 'Governor's Whitbier' serves as a flavorful testament to the state's vibrant agricultural industry and thriving craft beer scene.
The unveiling of 'Governor's Whitbier' is perfectly timed for the upcoming Pure Michigan Governor's Conference on Tourism, slated for April. Governor Whitmer expressed her enthusiasm for the conference, emphasizing its pivotal role in promoting the Pure Michigan brand and bolstering the state's tourism sector.
