The Grand Rapids man who runs the YouTube channel "Anxiety War" has been told by local police to stop his vigilante pursuit of child predators. 23-year-old Zach Sweers started the YouTube channel several months ago in order to shine a light on child predators here in West Michigan. He hoped to reveal these predators online and that his videos would eventually lead to the prosecution of the predators. His plan has seemed to hit a bit of a road bump, however.

Police have come out with a statement regarding the latest video (posted 2 days ago). Grand Rapids Police have asked for Sweers to stop attempting to bring online predators to justice. The police also went on to inform Sweers that they will not be pursuing any charges against the latest subject of his video series.

The most recent video featured was posted on May 1st and had the following description:

This U.S. Army predator becomes disgruntled once he realizes the 14-year-old girl he solicited sex with online doesn't exist.  This man was reported to the authorities. He is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. [YouTube: Anxiety War]

What do you think about the whole situation?  Should police pursue charges against the most recent subject?
