The Grand Rapids Pride Center has announced that 2025's pride festival will be bigger, longer, and better than ever.

Organizers made the announcement on social media on March 26.

The festival will return to Calder Plaza in downtown Grand Rapids. The plaza has been home to the festival for many years.

While this year's theme and entertainment lineup has not yet been announced, organizers say that they have "more exciting announcements" coming.

Vendor, volunteer, and performer applications will be live soon.

The new two-day festival will be held on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, 2025. Saturday's hours will be from 12:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Sunday hours will be from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Grand Rapids Pride typically features tons of merchandise vendors, food trucks, a beer tent, entertainment, dancing, and so much more! It appears as though admission will be free again this year.

The History of Grand Rapids' Pride Festival

The first Grand Rapids Pride Festival was held back in 1988 at what was then known as the Monroe Amphitheater downtown (what we now call Rosa Parks Circle).

Over the years, the festival had many homes, including Riverside Park for several years, before moving back downtown to Calder Plaza.
